Find me a phone please?

Its about time i had a new phone BUT which one to choose is really daunting.
Ive been having a think of maybe one with a GOOD camera AND one i can play music or audio books on so must have a decent memory!

I really DONT want contract so am thinking is it possible to find a decent one for say #:250??

any recommendations please

Samsung Galaxy Ace is a very basic smartphone with 5Mp camera and a slot for up to 32Gb micro SD card. It costs just about £100.

Huawei G300 is a much better phone that costs about the same.

There are dozens of phones in £250 range that fit your requirments.

Hnadsets around £250 are often decent spec'd Xperia P, Galaxy Ace 2, are two handsets I would be considering around that price point.

The Ace 2 is very different from the Ace, go for the ace 2 for future proofness :cool:

I know I am biased but I would wait until the Huawei Ascend G330 is released next month. Better spec and destined to be cheaper. It's basically the much acclaimed G300 but with a 1hgz dual core processor and front camera. Or save yourself £££££s now and get the Huawei G300 for £66 from Very.

thanks i did mean the galaxy ace 2..........there are so many of them its good to know which is better!

If you want really good VFM, then the Nexus 4 just got priced at £239 for the 8GB version!

Sorry, I didn't give the full details in order to get it for £66 (which is a net price after a bit of hoop jumping). Here are the details but you just substitute Very instead of Isme (part of the same Littlewoods group) and use the code in post 490 on the thread

I've just looked at both the Huawei G300 and The Samsung Ace today. Both £100, which is all I want to spend. The guy in the shop said that the Huawei didn't have a very loud ringtone (no good to me). He didn't have one set up. He said, other than that, there was nothing in them, though the Huawei would need unlocking to use on 02. I can't really wait a couple of weeks till they bring one out on other networks, as I've no phone. Any thoughts.
