hi all, just reporting in to say NSD 2

Its been a lot of months since I last took part in a challenge on here and I've got lazy with my money saving so have decided to come back and hopefully motivate myself again.

I'm going to go for 15 NSDs from the days left in November. Today will not be one as I'm going to watch some fireworks tonight which is £3 but the rest of the week is looking good. Hopefully I can get my finances back on track and get out of my overdraft in the next few months.

Not a NSD today. Note in my diary to renew driving licence, so I fished out my licence and sure enough, expires November 14th. Faffed around online trying to renew the thing, only to find it won't accept my passport photo as it is over 5 years old.

Persuaded OH to take me in his car to the Post Office a few miles away where he renewed his licence, promising to put some motion lotion in his vehicle in payment (am being very frugal with petrol in my car this month).

Got to said Post Office, handed docs over to counter assistant who pointed out my licence expires in November 2013....!

Quelle plonkeur (or should that be plonkeuse on account of me being a girlie?)!!!!!

Still, called in at Iceland and got a few bargains so not a total waste of time.....

Hello, wow, this is harder than I thought! I managed a NSD on saturday and then there will definitely be one today, as I don't intend to go anywhere other than my desk at work and then home. So thats 2NSD's for me!

Very frosty this morning but lovely & sunny so have the windows open trying to air the house a bit ....... had a short walk down the street on my rubber legs .... didn't get far at all and doesn't bode well for Maisie coming home anytime soon but I guess it's a start and I just need to keep at it!:)

Recent convert here - I've worn vests with shoestring type straps for years but the difference in having the top 1/2 of your back fully covered *sigh*:) wish I'd discovered them years ago!

(and at the end of the day .... no-one knows you've got them on!)

I am always late joining each month, sorry.

I would like to join please and aim to have 15 NSDs this month. I have so far had 3 NSDS! Joining the Grocery Challenge is also helping to concentrate the mind. I was a member for a few years but then thought I knew it all. But how easy it is to become complacent.:)

and i know i will keep it that way as i am in my jarmies and there is nothing and noone short of either mike patton or kiefer sutherland will get me out of them or indeed my house....am bleeding freezing
