  • rising - glad you got some new thermals, they’re a real boon over the winter. Hope you’re starting to feel a bit better? Take care xx

Thanks for asking Spoon ..... making a bit of progress now - had my 1st walk yesterday - the dog's "last widdle 5 min round the block" ..... took over 1/2 an hour, with several stops:o but it's a start and something I can build on day by day. :)
A non NSD for me again. Really had to go and get some custard to go with the cakes i made yesterday. I had to have it, this seems to be the problem, having to go and buy something daily that i fancy, as i dont want anything that i have in. It is not good.

What about putting a bit in a pot each week to cover these ..... pregnancy cravings can't be counted as ruining NSDs!:)

No NSD today or this weekend. I'm hoping today is my only spendy day though and will be knuckling down for at least 3 this week and 1 at the weekend too if I can.
  • I signed up to the NOvember challenge before I signed up here, so I'm sorry it's the wrong way round. I'm hoping for 15 NSDs, not counting the planned weekly shop (including liquid gold) and DDs, though they mostly go out on the 1st anyway. Have managed two so far and today should be another. I do actually need some veg to go with tonight's liver and bacon, but might see if any of the Jerusalem artichokes in the garden are big enough to eat - if not, it'll have to be salad, because that's what I've got...

  • Not one today ...... have been hunting around for some more thermal underwear for a while - I got some fantastic ones at M&S

I also have thermals from M&S they are a godsend, people laugh at me because I always wear a vest and have done so since 22. I am a cold bod and nothing beats that warm sensation of being snuggly in your clothes. My OH also has thermal long johns! we are both under 30! LOL!

They may do a suet pudding & they deliver.

really! how wonderful, i am off to look now because a recipe is proving hard to find, i think I need to go to the library and find a Mrs Beeton book circa 1940s.
Citizenkitten - i don't really have a preference to having a boy or girl, but i am not going to be finding out.

surprise then! cool! yeah you should keep some change for those pregnancy cravings, i think only the harshest person would count spends on those!

Nargle - Igor can keep his hat on! :rotfl:

Happytorty - well they have been used to getting their own way now for decades so I doubt I am going to make them do anything they dont want to do!

  • Good Morning :) Spent yesterday but was also going to as I'd saved all my spending up. Today will definitely be a NSD as I am not going anywhere and don't need anything. So NSD 3 for me :D
Hi, my name's Katy and I'm a (former) spendaholic!
    NSD - November Challenge - 7/10
5/11/12 - 7 Weeks to Christmas Weight Loss Challenge! 2/14
  • Hi, I am new to this and also very late - still getting my head around the various challenges, but wanting to jump in while the motivation is still bright and shiny. But if you don't want to have to update the front page for stragglers like me, that is entirely fine and I will just update my own sig.

Anyway! November means Christmas shopping, birthday shopping for both my gorgeous daughters and halfway through we celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary. So it's going to be an expensive one no matter what I do; so I'm starting off with a modest goal of 10 NSD this month.

Today is NSD #2, after the requisite family outing and grocery shopping that makes up my weekend.
