No problem myself with the refferal link, no malware etc, I always sweep for it almost everyday with several programs, its a case of either GP are slow to credit or the companies that pay them.

I check every time I make a purchase that the links are okay, GP allows you to do this, and if the link works fine it states, Cashback OK.

That's a good idea. Didn't know you could do that.

How do you do the check?

I posted a while back about them when I found that the prices they quoted for James Villa Holidays were way above the prices on JVH site. It turned out that JVH are not the only site that this happens with.

You dont get something for nothing. Well, not unless you take up Martin's advice re. the no interest Balance Transfer cards.............. :D

If there is a dual pricing, then it would be the retailer that sets this in conjunction with the affiliate marketing firm ( likes of Comm Junction, TDbl etc..) and not the cashback site

Not saying you are wrong in pointing this out but the blame lies with others for any underhand actions.

That said dual pricing can be found in many walks of life -
Tesco's / sainsburys hardly makes it clear that prices vary in small shops to the supermarkets

Had to raise a missing ticket this morning with Greasy Palm
reply / credit showing all within 5/6 hrs total

obviously would have been better if had not needed to raise credit in first place, but
I'm happy with that level of service

It took me 5 working days to get a reply to my last one, dont ever raise two tickets as I did last time, it takes even longer.

TBH I think they have few staff, perhaps to keep costs down.

I signed up for freeipod thingy through greasypalm as well as bought annual travel insurance through their link for which I should have got 5% back.

Both of these were done after ensuring that the tracker was working etc.

I have been credited for neither of them and I am not inclined to follow them up each time they are supposed to credit something to me. I just decided not to use them any more.

I might not receive the cashback as promised by them, but I dont want them profiting because I cant be bothered to follow them up.

My son asked me to order his laptop from Dell at a cost of £999.01. After a month I contacted Greasy Palm with the order number etc and their reply said that Dell had no record so I'd be getting nothing. Maybe not the fault of Greasy Palm but that was my biggest online purchase and not to get cashback was very annoying. As said previously I wish I'd used a different cashback site but this is first time I've had problems. Wouldn't have been so bad if it was for a dvd or book.
