    Actually, I knew you were going to say that :rotfl:. In fact that is where we would meet. We would bump into each other in the dark, and wonder how two such different persons, from completely different backgrounds could end up in the same place.

    TTFN xxxxxxx.

    Erm... little purple flowers?? :p A virtual garden is about all I can have at the mo... I have no private garden just a small square space outside the door with a couple of bushes.

    Oh.. and a pot of mint!! :D

    Window sills? :D

    In that case, more photos? :p

    Hello again!!

    Your chocolate plants need to be sorted out asap. They should be treated as dahlias over the winter. You can dig them up and cut the foliage back to about 2 inches of the tubers and store them in slightly moist peat in a dark place.

    Or you can protect the base of the stem and the root area during the winter time by mulching using whatever you have to hand. It could be fleece, bubblewrap, bark chippings or a hessian sack or similar. This way you protect the plant from frost damage. If we have a hard winter they may not survive outside.

    Ah, i don't know how you treat dahlias, but i think i have some? and the flowers have just died off. I didn't "plant" my precious chocklit friends, so it looks like it's time for the garage for them, too? Do i still water them or just let them dry out?

    Dya know what? I actually feel we won't have such a hard winter this year, ( although it's inevitable we get some snow and frosts here.) There haven't been any berries on my holly bush, so far. Last year there were berries on the the holly, early summer, if i remember?

    Maybe you shouldn't :eek::eek:

    I've cleared and tidied a garden for a lady and got paid in money and plants! The lady concerned has had a knee replacement and finds it difficult to kneel, so asked me if I would come and help out. She has the most beautiful garden, a really traditional cottage garden style. Some of the plants had grown too large so I had to divide them up and plant the new plants elsewhere [under instruction!] or take them home with me...hurrah!

    I now have the following planted in my garden
