have been with them for a couple of years (third subscription) with only minor problems, on the whole i would say that i've been very happy with their service thus farnothing to see here, move along...0

Thought service was great apart from No logic applied when sending discs,
Ie sequels, and series would be sent in the wrong order. I will sign up again once I have got through the back log of films I got from them.0 -
Loads of folks have had problems with Lovefilm. I wouldn't go back to them.
They don't answer emails properly and you get fobbed off a lot.
Blockbuster offer a better (if more expensive) service but even they aren't perfect.Don't grow up. Its a trap!

People only have trouble if they try to get the free trial and not pay for it. Most paying customers seem to be happy.0

We've had problems with them, they took ages to send out DVDs and said it was because we had less than 20 on our list. They keep sending emails saying we don't have enough on the list and to add more - we don't want to, we want to cancel once we've had all the DVDs on the list (only because we're a bit skint right now (been with them for about a year).0

i done the lovefilm trial thru quidco and was able to cancel no problem, ok had to call them up but they cancelled no probs0

I just tried to cancel a free 3 month trail with them this morning. they kept me on the phone for about 30 mins & kept puttng me on hold to cancel my account & asking lots of questions why i wanted to cancel. They offered me 3 different extended trails during this time. I must have been on hold for 20 of those 30 mins. is this a tactic to get you fustrated & hang up on them??
I had posted the discs back yesterday morning & they had not yet received them, thay asked me for proof of postage for these, I explained that they were posted only yesterday & might take a few days to get there, they were quite rude & said I would have to pay for the discs & that my account would not be cancelled.
Overall I found them very rude & wasted a lot of my time to cancel the account. I have the feeling they are going to claim that the discs were not received & carry on charging me.
Luckily I have the proof of postage if that is going to count for anything & would not hesitate to contact trading standards if this happens.
I would not reccommend them to anyone.0
