Oh I love York, such a beautiful place , it will be even more beautiful with the snow:)

They were waist deep in water about 4 weeks ago so along the river is a lovely layer of sludge, last thing they need is a layer of snow on top.

I love York as well, my eldest lives there :T

Yes we had it earlier too - for an hour or so. Really big snowflakes.
    It's all gone .

It's only October for goodness sake!:o

Earliest snow we've had for quite a few years I understand and only 6 months since our last snow (BBC local weather):( Heading down to Leeds tomorrow but I doubt it will be any better there.

A friend of mine the one I mentioned the other day with his first glitch/coupon shop on cheese had a little boy about 2-3 months back.
Now seen as the next pitter patter of tiny feet for me will be grandchildren when/if. I have not taken any notice of offers/coupons etc that might be of use to someone with a baby.
Any ideas because I know there will be many on here who have just had a baby and will be wanting to keep costs down .
    TIA

  • Aww that must have been really carp :(

I've seen them a few times, not for a good few years though. One of the best was the Barrowlands in Glasgow, it's an amazing venue, I love it in there and Wembly was another stand out.
I have decided that if they tour any time soon I am going to go and I don't care if I have to go myself  :rotfl:

i did get to see them in Manchester but OH didnt (hes not jealous much) if they ever announce any dates please post and bring it to my attention as I normally only find out about stuff after its sold out :o

any other bands on your to see list? havent been to a gig for ages

and yet my 3 year old is still refusing to wear a coat  he is at least letting me put a jumper on him and in fairness he is a really warm child - and hugging him is much cheaper than putting the heating on :D
Silence is golden...unless you have a toddler. In that case silence is very, very suspicious!
