Wine glitch still working in my store this evening at 18.45 - no Ogio but Hardy's going through at £13.81 so £2.30 per bottle on Merlot and Chardonnay. 3 for 12 and 25% off 6 bottles signs still up.

Also Penguin 9 packs buy one get 2 free, as are Wheat Crunchies/Discos/Nik Naks - not glitch but works out Jess than 10p/bar for Penguin and 10p pack on crisps.

I so hope that if they fix the tills overnight then the stores forget to take down the 3 for £12 sels. If there is one thing better than very cheap glitchy wine, it is being paid £12 to take 6 bottles away :)

Sorry I cant take any of the credit, it was someone else who did the careful maths sums to show us the posssibilities.
All I think I did yesterday was whip some people into a frenzy as I was getting very over excited about todays wine sale and hoping someone would do a test run very early on which they did :T
Just very glad everything worked as predicted today - I think I would have been a right grump if not :rotfl:
Wine sales come up a few times a year, the trick is to be able to predict how many bottles you will need for Christmas and summer barecues etc and then when you have your little wine lake you then have to eek it out to last until the next wine sale.
You need 2 sorts, cheap and cheerful for the odd glass mid week and over priced and posh for presents and big family does :D

    Evening all
Many thanks to nomad and mhoc for finding the wine glitch. The longer I am on here I suppose I might one day be able to predict a glitch based on repeated trends. Very grateful for the experienced members sharing.
Just had a little trip to tosco and 12 bottles now happily packed under my stairs. For guests and presents not me as I am very fussy drinker as don't have wine often and prefer a nice fizz or chablis but my bolegnese and chilli will also benefit no end as a generous slug will be cheaper than a decent stock cube.
More stuff I will have to move but so happy to be building my 'reserves'.
Meet 2 novice 'friends of Martins' in the wine aisle tonight which is always nice.

Did the moderators know there would be an alcohol glitch today hence site down tonight for maintenance.:rotfl:
    Redfox enjoy a peaceful night.

My store had no yellow SELS yesterday or this morning. This afternoon the SELS had appeared but they had also restocked the shelves :D
    Godsmacked.
But whoever was in my store and snaffled all of the Merlot is not in my good books :rotfl:

This reminds me I went and had a look at the Disney DVDs today, not sure what I was looking for but I saw a SEL which said buy one get one free for one of the £5 DVDs - is this offer still running.
Id already over stayed my welcome in that store for one week so I didnt want to risk taking this DVD through a till or SS and I also was not sure about CS doing a refund if it did go through full price
