Dam I knew inflation was high but not this high. I should have stocked up during the glitch.:rotfl:

I am thinking that if we still have the letters we got from Kim re the £3 MOCs (or £2, £1 ones) then we need to carry this around with us.
Then on the day when you feel like having a discussion re the acceptance of MOCs, ask to see the manager and wave the letter at him :rotfl:

I've already had to do this but at Toscos the day i got mine, they accused me of having fakes  I took the letter out and asked could they ring that number and give my name and address and they'd tell her they were genuine. Needless to say they double checked the number with someone from the cash office and were told by that person that they were real as they'd had a call about them from HO as someone had tried to use them earlier in the week.
I still have it in my bag for this reason.

I won't ask how many bottles you got as it will spoil reading it in the newspapers tomorrow. :p:D:D:D
  • Hello Elite, I am so so sorry that I am not about, as well as Dad being poorly Mum has also hurt her leg too so can only hobble about bless her.

I hope that everyone is ok, I have only logged on today to pm another mser as I am looking to aquire a Bichon Frise.

We did intend to get a dog when I finished work in July but due to Dad not being well and all other things we put it off. But we can't keep putting it off as whilst I am taking a break from work, its the ideal time to have a puppy.

I also have a water infection so I am on antibitotics too. Hugs to all the Elite, Budgie unfortunatley has no time for a glitch but I shall be back as Arnie says ;)

    Much Love
    Budgie xxx

Hugs budgie, hope you get sorted with a puppy.

Just in from a wine shop, and I see that it looks like Tosco are taking Sada conditional spend coupons, wish I knew that before I went, as I have a few of these. Just a thought, although not encouraging people to use them twice, but how will Tosco know if the coupon has been used before, either at Tosco or Sada?
Thanks to the OP about the wine.

Pay more attention - I reported it at the beginning of the week.:o
  • I had to comment on this.
My brother in law used to be on plenty of fish and his summery said something along the lines of " enjoys socializing , playing pool, reading, walks on the beach and dogging"

  • Evening all
Many thanks to nomad and mhoc for finding the wine glitch. The longer I am on here I suppose I might one day be able to predict a glitch based on repeated trends. Very grateful for the experienced members sharing.
Just had a little trip to tosco and 12 bottles now happily packed under my stairs. For guests and presents not me as I am very fussy drinker as don't have wine often and prefer a nice fizz or chablis but my bolegnese and chilli will also benefit no end as a generous slug will be cheaper than a decent stock cube.
More stuff I will have to move but so happy to be building my 'reserves'.
Meet 2 novice 'friends of Martins' in the wine aisle tonight which is always nice.

Did the moderators know there would be an alcohol glitch today hence site down tonight for maintenance.:rotfl:
    Redfox enjoy a peaceful night.
