I'm logging on quickly from my work to say that I have just had an offer accepted on what will make a lovely family home on the street I grew up on as a kid (from 6 months to 10 years)!!! :j:j:j:j:j
It's a bit of a project which suits me just fine. I could never in a million years afford this house if it was all done up
Big, big thanks to everyone who contributes to the finds on this thread because the savings I have made (and hopefully will continue to make) will help speed the renovation along :beer:
I can't believe my daughter will be going to the same school as I did. :eek:My mum still lives in the area and can't wait to walk her to/from school when she's old enough :j
Thats good news :j:j
Will be lovely your daughter going to the same school0 -

I do chunky veg with turkey and call it stew:T:T I realised it was free on Slimming world diet:Tand then carried on blending it because DS wouldnt eat veg when he was younger so I used to tell little fibs and tell him their was no veg in it;)Good way to get your little ones to eat veg if their picky eaters:)
My little 5 year old granddaughter loves stew. She makes sandwiches with it! I love the way she spoons the stew from the bowl on to the bread then squidges it down with her little fingers. Very messy but at least she is eating her veg.0 -
Got my LaRedoute order today that "duffle coat" has to be 1 of the most horrid items I have had the misfortune to own in a long while, I can't even touch it the "material" is so vile, thats 1 for the Shelter at xmas box I just hope the poor homeless person doesn't get electrocuted from all that static that will be generated.0

aau1 - fantastic news and a great post. Good luck
from an A vs W compare - actually bought as part of an A vs T compare for the 3 for 2, but came up as n/a against T. Similar outcome as only 64p each in W, then less 40p moc. So for each paid 42p and APG 24p so 18p each. Useful filler for an A vs W shop

Also saves on the washing up:D

Emily_Rachel wrote: »Hello, just did a small adsa shop and being litter-aware, picked up a stray receipt. When I checked it through price guarrantee there was a small APG and also a 3.00 off ariel liquitabs - quite a suprise! Any one else getting 'extra' vouchers from A thrown out when they print off their APG or bonus 5.00??
Yeah got the liquitabs too:D:beer:0 -
