  • ...Still haven't got off my chair...:o...but thanks to Debi and Couponqueen for the support and advice. I really do try to think of it as healthy eating, I also do positive affirmations etc! But I do get bored and that's when the choccy biscs appear!! I just need to keep motivated. I haven't tried SW Debi, but know many on here have had great success. Well done to you for your achievements. I like the Rosemary Conley books, but I don't have the courage to go to any sort of classes. Hopefully that will come as I work on myself. Since turning 50 last week I am determined to sort my struggles with weight, self-image/esteem! And, I should add, to exercise - daily walk etc, as since I stopped working full time I really do sit around too much!
I guess we're all working on something, and I wish everyone courage etc!

Grrrr did a long post and then lost reception as we are currently in the car on the way to Blackpool, kids are watching flushed away and cars2 on the DVD players so hopefully I may get some peace :D

    Morning all

It was lovely catching up with last nights supportive posts, thats what this thread is all about helping and supporting each other be it real life issues or money saving issues :D

3dogs please stick with cruse, the staff and volunteers who run it are in my personal opinion some of the nicest people I have ever come across :A and although 6 weeks seems a long time now it will soon be here along with Christmas :snow_laug:

    Happy birthday 3010, :bdaycake:

Hugs to those who need/want them :grouphug:

Hi guys, thanks for all of your well wishes :A
Well i've been to the Dr. Xray report says there is a 10cm mass on left side of chest.
Have been thinking it over and wondered whether they have taken into consideration that I'm breastfeeding baby Harry still. Asked whether maybe this 'mass' was actually Harry's afternoon snack :rotfl: Dr says he couldn't be certain that it wasn't, but he would have expected them to see something on the right side too if that were the case. Have been referred for urgent CT scan. Thorough examination whilst I was there and nothing untoward as far as he said. Back to the waiting game. Drs parting words were 'try not to worry'
If this turns out to be breastmilk I'll be :rotfl::mad: and :j all at the same time

    Sorry to hear that.

I know saying "try not to worry" sounds a bit glib, but keeping a positive outlook really is important for your health :)

People sometimes put a lot of energy into worrying about things, then it turns out to be nothing sinister, so keep your chin up chick :)

    Evening everyone

Sorry if this has already been posted. I thought that the Special K free sample had finished last week but just went on site and it has let me print vouchers for free box of Special K Red Berries. It has just let me print off 2 on my FB id and 2 on my hubby's FB id using the same computer.

Just going to try again on DS lappy lol :D

Its letting me print far too many:o:o:T

Someone mentioned the other day asking a sa for a pen so they could write their name down for when they ring head office and complain resulted in sa taking coupons.
At the end of the day saying anything along those lines you dont mind if I video you do you ,I just want a photo for your bosses so they know for definate who gave me all the grief, can you just say that again into my phone.
Would all get the same response er no carry on

My tactic is if they get a bit funny as just very calmly say "Don't worry just take one and I'll phone HO when I get home" 9 times out of 10 it works although getting a bit peed with being told "We'll do it this time for you"

Morning everyone:)Bright and chlly here this morning. Lots to do so working and lurking all day. Did a pile of coupons on SS in S's last night and had a young male SA.Poor fella was rushed off his feet, so just put through all my coupons while moaning to me that S's expected him to be superman and look after all the SS tills on his own:eek:My kind of SS,made me wish I'd done a few more;)Back off to catch up.
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:
