:rotfl::rotfl:Lol - want the good new or the bad news :rotfl::rotfl:

It only stops raining when you're in the pub, ever wondered why we have so many pubs :D (or churches if you're not a drinker )

Make sure to take a look in the N.I Forum if you are a first time visitor, regardless, feel free to ask for advice/opinions on anything as there seem to be a few of us around at the moment and as is well known we are full of it (opinions/advice that is :p) Directions to the nearest Mr T or Mrs A - happily supplied so you wont miss any extra cirricular shopping activities/glitches.

I had the best pudding I ever ate in my life at a restaurant in Belfast. it was so good I can still taste it....in fact I dream about it sometimes:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

well if nothing else the folks in Belfast are an absolutely lovely bunch. I had the pleasure of travelling there for work a few times in recent years and the hospitality is second to none. The pubs and rest aurants are fantastic.....I would go again. The people are lovely....like the scots:D

You might want to look into getting a refund :p

Seriously this place has more rain than anything else. When England has sun, we have rain. When England has snow, we have rain. When England has rain, we have rain. Occassionally the sun comes out to lull us into a false sense of security but I swear the best of the weather this year was March/April time. Summer was a wash out and we're straight into winter by the look of it.

Ah but its even better when the Scots live there, going to see my Son, DIL, GD and new grandchild who is due next week, so there will be plenty sunshine in our lives no matter what the weather.
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.

Thanks Raven, I have been a few times now, my son has lived there for 9 years now and had his wedding at the wonderful (aptly named) Culloden Hotel, ( we live 30 miles from the real Culloden).
I even took photos of the Tesco in the city centre the first time I went there, what a beautiful ceiling : )

    Thank you :D
No, this will be our 4th, the oldest is 3. 2 live a mile away and the other 2 too far away :( Its not easy to get there when you work full time and live in the north, there are loads of flights from the south at great prices, but we could have a week in the sun for the price they are charging from here. So we come over twice and they come here twice a year.
