I don't think I've ever seen as much rain as we've had this year. It raining here now but it's been dry the last 6 days and that the longest it's been dry in months. I'm with you I can cope with pretty much everything but rain.

Where are you going in December? I could just do with a holiday, but hearing about everyone else's will do instead:D

Belfast, thats why I said about the rain, whats the chances??? : )
The weather there is very similar to Scotland.
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.

Been trying to catch up (unsucessfully I may add, think I'm up till about 2am last night )

Liking the vibe out there at the moment, seems like the thread is getting back to normal again although a lot of new peeps have joined in which is good.

Nice to see L.L posating again and great to see F.C back on line (have really missed reading your posts) welcome back :j

Very strange work pattern for me this week, dont know wether I'm coming or going, thought today was 26th and some one mentioned using up their last apg so thought I should check mine and realised I had 4 to use up today :o charged out at 9 and used 3 on the one belt (3 shops) as our store closes at 10 - really  at myself cause one has had to be binned - poor form and total lack of organisation on my part - that'll learn me. :o:o

Will have a one an a half hour window tomorrow (silly N.I trading hours) to use my last four capped Apg's tomorrow - a sad(a) day indeed :( :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Currently watching a great BBC2 show that was on in June and repeated last night (on again Sun night/Mon morning at 01.30 BBC4) - Jools Holland: London Calling , "a great history of the City through its songs and music" - who didn't sing London Bridge is Falling Down as a kid?

Great show, record it if you can.

Off for more catch up. :)

well if nothing else the folks in Belfast are an absolutely lovely bunch. I had the pleasure of travelling there for work a few times in recent years and the hospitality is second to none. The pubs and rest aurants are fantastic.....I would go again. The people are lovely....like the scots:D

Just booked flights and hotel for a week in December : ) No rain then I hope, I hate rain; wind, snow, cold, heat are fine, but rain is a no no.

You might want to look into getting a refund :p

Seriously this place has more rain than anything else. When England has sun, we have rain. When England has snow, we have rain. When England has rain, we have rain. Occassionally the sun comes out to lull us into a false sense of security but I swear the best of the weather this year was March/April time. Summer was a wash out and we're straight into winter by the look of it.

    But not as tight :p;)

Everyone says that about here though. I think we're a lovely bunch over here and you find complete strangers engaging in conversation that if you tried that in London, you'd get looked at like you'd 2 heads. Maybe I've been unlucky but the few times I've tried striking up a conversation in London, I've gotten strange looks. Over here it's the done thing!

:rotfl::rotfl:Lol - want the good new or the bad news :rotfl::rotfl:

It only stops raining when you're in the pub, ever wondered why we have so many pubs :D (or churches if you're not a drinker )

Make sure to take a look in the N.I Forum if you are a first time visitor, regardless, feel free to ask for advice/opinions on anything as there seem to be a few of us around at the moment and as is well known we are full of it (opinions/advice that is :p) Directions to the nearest Mr T or Mrs A - happily supplied so you wont miss any extra cirricular shopping activities/glitches.
