Best Christmas Presie I got from my X was a wheel wrench with an extra long handle, so I could change my own tyres without any help from him:mad:
Another good one was Finch which he had hidden in a cupboard and when he gave it to me it was dead, thought he might as well still give it to me as he had gone to the expense of buying it.
Also got me a new ironing board for my Birthday one year, I obviously wasn't making a good enough job of his laundry.:mad:0 -
Just booked flights and hotel for a week in December : ) No rain then I hope, I hate rain; wind, snow, cold, heat are fine, but rain is a no no.
I don't think I've ever seen as much rain as we've had this year. It raining here now but it's been dry the last 6 days and that the longest it's been dry in months. I'm with you I can cope with pretty much everything but rain.
Where are you going in December? I could just do with a holiday, but hearing about everyone else's will do instead:D0 -

Can I ask please are people just using one bogof coupon for 2 cans? So it works out at about 90p for 2 cans after comparison? Or is that totally wrong??
...
1.79 + 1.79 compares with (1.50 + 1.50) -10%, ie
3.58 compares with 2.70 so you get 88p APG back per 2 cans
2 cans have therefore cost you 1.79 - 0.88 = 91p, or 45.5p per can0 -

sorry sue I don't meanto laugh but I couldn't help it. My OH isn't in the romantic stakes when it comes to presses either.....he like to be practical as well. Last year I got a new greenhouse for Xmas which I didn't actually see until march and a few years ago he bought me a trolley jack......I loved both and use them
I moaned once about his practical pressies and he bought me some ( truly hideous) clothes. So I learned not to complain
Poor finch tho:eek:
The ironing board however is just a step way too far!!! :rotfl:
Love your SOH sue:rotfl:0 -
Must be bed time0
