Also the official costume is still being sold by quite a few big name fancy dress shops on the net, why are people not up in arms about this?

Because maybe some people have a sense of humour and dont immediately label something racist or sexist or ageist.
The T shirt says nothing. Its called humour.

Some people really need to chill, relax then grow up a little

I actually wrote to Jim'll Fix It as a child, only now am I happy that my letter was ignored! Wouldn't buy the t shirt, and wouldn't find it funny if I saw it being worn either. In my view it is making money from other peoples misfortune and thats not right really

Beats me why anyone in their right mind would wear something that obviously celebrates a pedo.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

It dark humour. They're not supporting, or celebrating, these bad things. The point of dark humour to try to shock.
Not everyone's taste in humour, granted, and I wouldn't buy something like this myself.

I think these tops are a brilliant idea.

You can spot a nob at 100 paces without having to waste your breath speaking to them.
Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.

I thought I was going to defend that t-shirt and then I looked at it, it's quite reprehensible. I could imagine a few tshirts that would be possibly amusing, that isn't one of them.

There was an article a few days ago that Ebay should ban selling Savile memorabilia and costumes. It would be difficult to police that as you could end up stopping selling plastic cigars, shell suits and blonde wigs.

The more you think about it, the worse it is.

The ugliest thing about it is that it will probably turn into a witch-hunt. You do worry about what these sort of things lead to, and whose lives it will wreck unfairly.
