Showed out of stock online for me so I rang up to see if I could shift from my current Tesco plan to this. The idea was then to go to my local store to see if they had it in. But they did it for me on the phone, all very easy and the black phone I wanted. Thanks for pointing this out, OP.

i am currently on o2 , i understand teco piggy backs o2 however a few people mentioned service is not like for like as 02 has priority.

    can anyone clarify?
  • Tesco's working fine for me.
Obviously o2 is going to be main carrier (excellent signal...but too many crashes - I used to be on o2)
Tesco might also get affected depending which mast is affected... but so far it's been good signal for me.

Another thumbs-up for Tesco from the West of Scotland, been on 02 previously and can't see any diference. Got a reduced Tesco monthly bill earlier in the year when 02 had some unplanned downtime.

Does anyone now how you use your club card vouchers on this, it takes me straight to payment details but i can see anywhere you add your voucher.

No, you can't use clubcard vouchers on line for pay monthy phones, but you can in store. I got one yesterday (in store) and they even exchanged the vouchers up in the phone shop (didn't have to wait at customer services).

What's more, you can even use the vouchers towards the first monthly payment. I got a case too and paid for the whole lot (£100 handset, £20 first month and plus case) all with doubled up vouchers.

just a warning for anyone who has got one of the tescos iphones, I tried to activate my daughter phone last night and they've sent me the wrong sim card, i got a nano sim instead of the micro sim so there sending a new one, im so glad i checked as she would of been so disappointed on xmas day if she couldn't of used it. so if you haven't activated your phone yet just double check its the right sim card.
