Oh ok. I thought you meant they had the deal but they refused to serve you. I think thats standard for contracts? Don't they need 2 forms of ID, bank card (to prove identity by debiting you like £1) and photo ID?
I don't know - are you going back with your licence to get it?
I hope my tesco has it...otherwise I will have no phone as of tomorrow ha

thanks op - phoned tesco mobile and ordered one for dd Xmas - can use the sim myself until the big day comes :T sorted - was looking for lowest monthly payment possible !!!!

Yeah cheers OP for this deal. Can confirm the deal, it is advertised in store as £200 handset but if you tell the phone advisor you saw this deal online they will check on their own computer and it says £20/pm, £100 handset!

Also to the other poster who got refused - I was not asked for any photographic ID.

The first time i rang i was refused because they askec me about my last credit card statement balance and i didnt have a clue, second time they just asked for my card details and was accepted

i had similar experiance was asked about a loan i had 5 years ago told them i had no idea so went to local shop and had no problem at all

I asked the girl in the store why it wasn't online and she said the deals are often different and that was it!?
Also in store it actually states the price is £200 for a £20pm tariff. So I wondered if I had not been aware of this deal would they have charged me £200? My dad (who came with me) said I should have played dumb and then said about this deal. I should have done really!

Change the colour of the phone to white while on the tescomobile website and you will see the deal mentioned £20pm / £100 handset. The black iphone doesn't have the same offers.
