Yes i have and it still my hair stays dry!

    its awful

I used it about 3 weeks ago and my hair has been great!!

My hair was quite curly but mostly frizzy!! I couldnt now leave it to dry naturally as it would still be frizzy but it is much easier to dry with the hairdryer and if i use the straighteners it only takes a few minutes rather than the hour it used to take!!!:T

Oh no hun....I said this a while ago and still stand by the fact that I would not recommend the home straightening product to anyone. I know people have got some good results from it, but the chemicals are so strong and in the long term will just make hair permanently dry and more prone to breakages and split ends. I asked my hairdresser buddies about it and they also said that they would no way recommend it to people, but I guess each to their own. some peoples hair seems to be fine.

have u tried using oil on your hair? I use some indian hair oil that costs just over a quid or so, you can get it in any indian cash n carrys. and me being indian i swear by it! if you can survive the smell leave it in overnight once a week and it should improve your hair in the long term.

Yes I recommended cocount oil- probably a similar thing- it should help sort out the dryness after a few days.I usuallyleave the coconut oil overnight- I haventtried indian oil myself might give it a go sometime . good luck .
Has anyone noticed Boots have sneakily re packaged their protect 7 perfect serum and refine & rewind ? Probalby cashing in on the popularity to promote their name they have added the boots logo to the bottom of the new boxes .Also means its easier to spot what is old stock ,especailly on ebay.
    old stock 4376_2.jpg

    new stock e757_2.jpg

Also that the 3 4 2 will be finishing once stock of the protect 7 perfect comes back in to store- plus the SA have been told only one bottle per customer.
the alternative product by time delay with the same ingredients is £10.00 this is it here time.jpg I have alwyas found time delays products to be really good so its probably worth a go, esepcailly if ther are any time delay promotions coming up.

    Hi all fellow Bootsters,

What is the actual name of the time delay product please?
Only I can't seem to easily find it on the boots website?

The refine & rewind seems to be staying in stock on the boots website so noone seems to want that one very much do they? And I bought three bottles of the stuff!!!!!!!!!! Anyone know if it's any good or would this time delay serum be better?

I could always return the refine & rewind or swap it for the time delay?!

All in the name of beauty......what we girls have to do to keep young and beautiful, isn't it!! Hope the OH appreciates it!:rotfl:

    Cheers!

Wow...boots must be so glad with all this free advertising. Didnt know that they had repackaged the new serum....did you buy the new one online Cat or instore?
Typical about not selling it until the 3 for 2 is over.....i am sure someone on here wrote that some stores had received the stock in though. seems a bit cheeky to have it in but not sell it because of the promotion

Yup u shuld try indian oil, although it is really similar to coconut oil. I prefer it as its an oil all the time and makes my ahir shiny. I used to use coconut oil and in the winter i would have to microwave it to melt it! If you ever want to try it its called Dabur/Amla oil: http://www.dabur.com/EN/products/personal_care/Hair_Care/default.asp

But beware they stink!!! Apart from the vatika oil, that doesnt smell as much!

Hi dotchas the ebay seller is correct the products are the same I believe/have produced similar results.

So all you guys that actually want it for yourself, see if you can get hold of the american one

Boots find the holy grail....a solution for anti-ageing that really works!

In Britain, women in their thousands have made a beeline to Boots to buy No7 Protect & Perfect Beauty Serum following a programme screened on the BBC called ‘Horizon’.

Sales of the wonder cream increased by nearly 2000% on the day the programme aired, with 13 being sold every minute. Boots stores across Britain are having to create waiting lists to manage demand from customers keen to experience the proven anti-ageing effects of this serum.

Professor Regan’s Beauty Handbook programme saw the scientist investigate the science behind cosmetics, particularly products which claim to prevent and repair the signs of ageing such as pigmentation, lines and wrinkles.

No7 Protect & Perfect was shown scientifically to repair photo-aged skin and improve the fine wrinkles associated with photo-ageing. No7 Protect & Perfect’s affect on collagen production is on par with the performance of retinoic-acid or Tretinoin - prescription drugs used to treat severe sun damage of the skin!

The good news is that Boots sells an equivalent product the US called No7 Restore & Renew Beauty Serum, which is a similar intensive serum which, in tests carried out by Boots in real-use conditions on their own volunteers, produced similarly strong results. Available in the US at both Target and CVS for $21.99.

Boots own Skincare Scientific Advisor, Steve Barton goes on to say “The complex in No7 Restore & Renew Beauty Serum addresses the different underlying problems with wrinkles – reduced collagen production, increased collagen breakdown, and lost elastin. The product’s ingredients, specially chosen for their beneficial effects on the skin, include amongst other things peptides that have been shown to increase the levels of supporting collagen, and white lupin extract to reduce the breakdown of collagen by enzymes known as matrix metalloproteinases.”
