Hi all
Strange but true.........
With regards to all the talk yesterday about selling P & P Serum on eBay. I thought I would share this with anyone who might be interested.
I was thinking of putting some of the Protect Serum on as I won't be using it all yet and it will be in normal stock eventually.
Anyway being a saddo ebay geek I had a quick trawl through the completed listings on ebay. Lots of the higher priced ones have gone to Australia and some to USA and other countries so they must have heard about it over there, Friends, TV? Magazine or Internet maybe. How mad is that?!!
Anway I think this will just make the demand increase. They don't have boots in Oz not sure about America? So if you do put it on offer to post worldwide.
It just goes to show how mad / vain we women are all over the world. :rotfl:
I bet boots can't believe their luck they couldn't ask for better publicity!0 -
Hi
It was 2 for £1.75 : this is some of what I got (this is the old packaging ):

Thanks Marymilkmaid
I'm just leaving for work now but, seen as I need to pass a Boots, I am tempted to stop and check if they have any there.

I took 2 to till SA put both through & it came up as bogof there is ALSO a 200 points in the ac machine WYB any soltan (except wipes)
I got step 1 pre tan exfoliator & step 2 pre-tan moisturiser @ £1.75 + 200 points & I paid by my pigsback voucher.
Needless to say I went & did this twice over again

Wierd how the prices of stuff is different across stores. I tried the No7 Mirror with my parenting voucher this morning and although it did take off the full price, the full price was £39.99 and the SA nearly had a heart attack, even though I had other things going through as well. She immediately rang her bell ........ needless to say I told her I had 'changed my mind about the mirror, I thought it was cheaper'.
Also, the soltan that MaryMilkMaid got for £1.75 was £1.00 in my store.
Re the mirror, went to another store and got it for £19.99 - less £5.00 parenting voucher and therefore free (obviously disguised a little with other stuff), I darednt try 3 for 2 No7 with this just in case it didnt work, would have got too flustered trying to work it out if it went wrong.0 -
Did you get the extra 200 points with the soltan or didnt you buy any? I think the moisturiser is fine for everyday use it seems quite rich
I got the facial sauna yesterday & it worked fine with the voucher. I had 2 free cameras & £5 worth of reduced items & SA never batted an eye lid.
I did think I was pushing it but all went well0 -
Hi! Do you know how long it takes to get the parenting vouchers? I registered on 31st march, but im off on my honeymoon for 3 weeks on saturday and would love to do a last minute bootsing to kit me up for the trip! :-)
Also, little Boots in leicester has clearance soltan, garnier and other brands for sun protection for 2-3 pounds each (and some go through as BOGOF).0 -
I bought 4 @ £1.00 therefore paying 25p each - I forgot to look in the machine for a points voucher for it .... before I go in the store I am usually well sorted with my vouchers etc so I know what I am doing and buying but if anything untoward happens i.e. I see new offers etc, everything goes to pot and I lose control....... some days I think I am going positively mad !!
may have a soothing soak in the bath tonight to calm myself with all my lotions and potions,,,,,,,,:o0 -
currently trying to work out if the Jemima Kidd offer online is any good and worth it when using discount codes, free delivery etc...0

Perfume does not have duty on it if bought in any uk store, perfume unlike alcohol and tobacco does not have duty applied to it only vat.
If your boyfriend is flying anywhere in Europe even the vat will still be payable so I doubt very much that the Liverpool airport shop will be the cheapest place to buy perfume.
The term duty free shop is almost a blatant lie and is used by Alpha airports to grossly overcharge you for cigarettes and alcohol at its monopoly like control of uk airports.
200 fags without duty and vat cost about £6 alpha charge about £22 per packet and in my opinion should be investigated my the mmc for price fixing.
Other items that dont have duty on them in shop in the uk that are sold as "duty free" by alpha airports
chocolate
toys
sunglasses
books
clothes[/QUOTE]
you are right but sometimes they have special offers etc, i know boots price so will compare next month and buy in cheaper shop...
