I went to Boots for the first time in ages today (been out of the country for a while and have been getting withdrawal symptoms). I couldn't find anything exciting in Oxford at all :( *sniff* so I contented myself with some half price wash-n-go for 99p plus 50pt coupon and a very nice chocolate muffin.

I looked for the Jemma Kidd emery boards in store (like the ones online) but there is no mention of an extra 500 pts anywhere on the display, so maybe it is online only.

I know this is slightly off topic but I was daydreaming about Boots today (like you do lol)
and I was just imagining how fantastic it would be if we could have a Trolly Dash in Boots!!! :rotfl: :T :rotfl:

In fact, that isn't such a crazy idea, I might just email headoffice and suggest it :p

no it is against the rules to sell on mse so ebay it is
  • Hi,

    Quick question...

Iv recently started using the time delay instant lip plump, as my lips are sooooo thin :( after I put it on a minute or so afterwards my lips start tingling quite a lot. Does anyone know if this is normal, and also has anyone noticed any difference to their lips  mine dont look any plumper at all

Yeah, the tingling is the plumper effectively irritating the lips. This causes increased blood flow which plumps the lips. At least that's how I was told they worked!

    Hi all,

I also spotted the No 7 protect & pefect pre holiday serum and that seems to have similar ingredients as the P & P too. This is selling for £7.50 and 3 4 2. Anyone know the low down on these products?

    :confused::confused:
I asked the no7 sa and she said it has none of the ingredients of the protect serum its just a marketting gimick.
Time delay lip plump - I had this too it contains pepper etc in the ingredients to make your lips sting ( lovely ) and hence the pump up effect. I think two faced and soap & glorys lip pumps have similar affects. Personally i dont feel its worth it, I would rather have thin lips than itchy lips !
I felt a really good lip gloss was much better, i like lancomes fever gloss at the moment or maybeline do good ones as well - without the itch effect .

Oh thanks for that. I was wondering if I should use it or not so now I know.

I do hope your hair gets better though - have you tried the leave in conditior stuff?? I am no expert but does not sound good.

Car boot it is then for my box.

Before you do, I also tried it when it first came out ....bit expensive but as I couldn't afford the £400 or so for the Yukon Japanese hair straightening that my sister had I thought I'd give this a go.

My hair is 50 inches long...yep very long and was very frizzy. I followed the instructions on the box to the letter, and I have to say the results were pretty good! It has left me with wonderfully shiny hair, and I don't have to use my thick GHD's as often...On the down side...I still use my straighteners when going out and the smell of the chemicals was pretty awful, took a few days to get it out......it smooths your cuticles down, so in theory is actually supposed to be good for your hair....go figure....

    I got step 1 pre tan exfoliator & step 2 pre-tan moisturiser @ £1.75 + 200 points & I paid by my pigsback voucher.

Needless to say I went & did this twice over again

Wierd how the prices of stuff is different across stores.

Also, the soltan that MaryMilkMaid got for £1.75 was £1.00 in my store.

    :D

I rushed in on my way to work and bought the step 1 & step 2 - sel price was reduced to £1.74 each. I managed (eventually, after trying my ac card once when only two offers came up and then DH's card when a few offers came up but no Soltan, and then my card again) to get the voucher for 200 points but they didn't go through as bogof. As I was rushing I never noticed, and didn't have time to check afterwards, if Soltan was on bogof on any of the advertising labels. Again, how weird that the pricing is different across the stores.
