well I decided to return my items to a store as they were a bit heavy for PO and wasnt at home for courier returns. I called CS and they said it was fine, gave me a ref number but the store told me no way and to basically get lost!! very rude

i then went back the next day after speaking to CS again, the guy gave me a refund after 45mins, took some points of my card for what i had returned, accused me of trying to scam points  blah blah.

anyways finally got a refund, only to find that after 2 days, boots had taken ALL of my points back from the order I did despite me only returning 2 items.

they are rubbish on the phone and have not even bothered replying to an email i sent about 3 weeks ago.

Thanks for the info, I was wondering whether it was more trouble than it was worth 'returning to store'. I guess I was right and thanks to your bad experience I wont be doing that.

I agree, Boots CS are useless by phone, e-mail and often by letter - although some people seem to get some great results with them - not me.

Anyway, thanks for letting me know.

on a different subject - does anyone know if you can pay with points when having films developed in Boots?

[I just got back from my local Boots - they are doing the suncare again on BOGOF........I also noticed some 'Lipstick bags' in boxes near the No7 counter - is there a new promotion on???? or do these scan free with any purchase???

    Thanks for any replies!!XX[/QUOTE]

    Hi.
It appears that all the previous gift bags & boxes have appeared on sale for £6.50 promoting the fact that they contain the elusive serum samples.
Someone tried to get 1 for free a few pages back but thinks that the tills are reset now to charge £6.50 (Not even sure if they can be included in the 3 for 2 offer)

The lipstick bags go through 3 for 2 no problems as I got some Friday not knowing about the serum thing as been away sa asked if I wanted the bags or serum inside I must have looked blank as she said you don't know what I'm on about do you lol....I certainly do now though.
