So how many people wish they lived in pontefract right now???!?! :D:D:D

I'm in Lincoln. I was within spitting distance of Ponterfract 10 days ago, then again last week (to collect camera DH had dropped in a car park)...he's now away, and I'm limping with a damaged calf muscle so can't get there under my own steam.

    Bother and even ruder words!

    Went!!

    But hardly anything left:sad:

Got some wax strips for underarms for £1 and 3 packs of magentic photo frames for 5p each...............and that was it.
There was lots of condoms, ski-suntan lotion and a few bigger items that were half price but nothing great.
The woman on the till was frazzled. She said she'd had numerous arguments and someone had said they were going to report her. I casualy asked her if she would have to go through it all again tomorrow and she said 'No, it's only for 1 day'. They were still popping bits and bobs onto the shelf but nothing worth having.

Sorry guys...........looks like we missed the boat. I've never driven so fast. I got stuck behind a tractor then roadworks and then a taxi driver pulled out in front of me!!! Atleast you didn't all head there from your different parts of the country!

    Maybe next time:confused:

I will be joining the Edinburgh branch of boots tarts this weekend as Im emigrating to edinburgh till sunday ! I have to go to edInburgh one weekend a month from now on for a course. Its so sad but one of the things that popped into my head when I was asked if I could do it , was " mmmnnn I could visit the edinburgh boots then...." So Princess street here I come !
IAMBROKE - You asked where the best place to get estee lauder idealist serum from .You can get it slighilty cheaper from wowwomen and sometimes directcosmetics but there is not big savings.
However I just wait till bonus times ( you need to buy 2 items but the sharpner is £5 if you dont need anything else ) and get it directily from boots- printing off a max spend voucher from the atm, or waiting till there is triple points offer & using any double points vouchers I have. You also will get whatever voucher boots have on specal at the time. The items I dont need from the bonus set I sell on ebay and also get some of my money back.I find this is the cheapest way to buy it.

    Hi Dotchas,
Will keep you in mind if i suddenly need a note to skip work, we could start @ Glasgow go to Edinburgh pick you up & anybody else on the way & make it a right old day out for all wandering BOOTSERS !!!!
We'd probably need to hire a fleet of coaches thats just 2 put the loot in !!!!
