You have all had me rolling with your funny replies!

I couldn't believe my eyes when I got in the shop and saw everything was like 10p and 20p, it was like being in a beautiful dream :rotfl:

The shelves were loaded down with stuff and weirdly, it was quite civilized, no pushing or shoving etc which you would expect but I think it was because there was that much stuff, there was enough for everyone.

I felt a bit greedy with regards to the Sanctuary and Avene products as I love Sanctuary and had to have almost everything on the shelf and I have never tried Avene but I know its normally expensive so I got quite a bit of that also at 20p and 30p a go.

I am just sat here in the garden, gazing at it allwith a big smile on my face!

I had to tell someone as it was just so exciting, so I thought I would tell the people who would be most interested, my Boots buddies :D

Well done! you got some great stuff there. I would've bought a whole shelf of Sanctuary products too.

I popped into Boots this morning, for the first time since I got back from my hols and didn't find any bargains. I saw the lipstick bags, burgandy bags and pink boxes (got 4 boxes free a while ago) for 6.50, but wasn't tempted. So off I went to Tesco instead. More bargains to be had there at the moment, which is a shame, after many months of gliches at Boots, it all seems to have come to an end...not for long I hope!

    Wow!

I'm particularly envious of your Avene trophies.

Do you have any idea why this sale happened? Any sign of anything in other branches?

Hi Wendy, I have no idea why they had such a bargain sale and I only knew about it because of kaja's post (massive hugs to you Kaja!)

One lady in the queue said they had the same one last year too for the same kind of prices (make a date in your diary for 2008!)

I am off to Wakefield tomorrow and will check out that Boots to see if theres anything going on, I do remember a big sale at Wakefield last year but I think it was later on in the summer.

So come on then tell us......what are you going to do with it all?? Will it end up on ebay or will you keep it?? You could start a business off with that lot!!!!:rotfl:

I do sell the odd bits on Ebay and I might sell some of the Avene as I know it is expensive in Boots and also maybe some of the Fcuk tanning stuff, that way I could recoup some of my £29 back!

I ended up with 4 boxes of brown (ish) hairdye, my hair is going to look interesting for the next few months :p , they were all 50p which is a real bargain as I remember paying about £8 for one of the Garnier/shwarzkopf brands earlier in the year.

The other stuff I think I will keep (especially all those lovely chocs at 30p a box!) and now I am off to have a pampering session with all those fabulous products :rotfl:

Hi, I've been reading for a while but only just got the nerve to type something, thank you for all the good tips. I printed one of the 10% off when you spend points today from the acm and the sa could not get her head around it and kept arguing that I couldn't redeem, luckly another sa came along and pointed her in the right direction. Then I tried to put £20 onto one of the pamper treatment gift cards using £15 worth of Boots vouchers and £5 cash and she said I couldn't do it, thank goodness nice sa came along and showed her what to do again. I normally wouldn't have had the guts but thanks to having the information that I was defiantly in the right I stuck to my guns so thank you all.
Just hoping to treat myself to some stuff with my £2 bathing vouchers now :)

    Hi Ragtimeplayer

I'll look out for Avene on Ebay!

"One lady in the queue said they had the same one last year too for the same kind of prices (make a date in your diary for 2008!)"

Note in diary duly made. Tragically, this is not a joke.

It's hardly moneysaving, but my daughter has had a mailing to say that as from 21 April, there will be 1000 points instore on any 2 Clarins purchases, one to be skincare.
