Boots Grabbit Bargains Thread part 8 - post your finds here

I received mine in the post today and I wouldn't have known they were fakes without you lot on here telling me
Mine are all the same size and shape and look genuine to me, however, I don't have anything to compare it with as I haven't been to Boots for a while.
I am sure if they look genuine to me, they will also look genuine to the sales assistants
Then again, I wonder what would happen if you did get challenged by a sales assistant?
Would it be classed as fraud? :eek:Stopped smoking Jan 2007 after 23 years!Cigarettes NOT smoked = 240,945Smoke free days = 11 Years :TCash saved so far = £125,45,110 -
Just thinking aloud here...
If it became known that there were fake vouchers in circulation, they might start checking them a bit more closely so it might be wise to spend them pretty soon before the rumour takes hold...Stopped smoking Jan 2007 after 23 years!Cigarettes NOT smoked = 240,945Smoke free days = 11 Years :TCash saved so far = £125,45,110 -
I feel bad - I posted the link to the seller for the coupons
I haven't decided what to do yet with mine but I bought a few lots too. I've contacted the seller with my thoughts and asked for their comments.
To those disappointed - I apologise for my poor judgement, they seemed like a bargain though.0 -

Agree with Mad_Mare ... you shouldn't feel bad. I thought it looked like a bargain too. But I'm big enough and ugly enough (no ... really lol) to make my own judgements.
Onwards and upwards:) With all the good deals I get at Boots, on balance I'm so much better off.
AND .. so pleased the other day I found a voucher on the floor in my local store (never found one before) :beer:0 -

It was all done with good intention though hun, so dont apologise!!
And does anyone actually know for sure that these are 'fakes' anyway? Boots must have thousands upon thousands of the £5 off/sunglasses vouchers printed, so surely there will be slight differences in colour, size etc from one batch to another. So maybe the Ebay ones ARE genuine, but appear slightly different to the ones we are comparing them to (that we were given at our local branch)...simply because they are from a different printing batch???
I am not doubting that the Ebay seller has got hold of them via dodgy means.... he had loads of the blooming things for sale!!!...but does that prove they are fake??2008 gig list... Nickelback + Staind (OMG...Staind ROCKED!!), Roger Waters, Infadels, Pendulum, The Police, K T Tunstall, Breed 77, Biffy Clyro....oh, and Motorhead0 -

Bedshape
Don't worry we all were after a bargain.

Don't worry bedshaped, personally I think they are genuine. They looked real when they came this morning and they certainly looked real when the sa took them in the shop today. The top one of my 4 even still had the tiny little bits of glue where it had been taken from the book. I think he's taken a full book when the sa has not been looking/concentrating (hence ref to silly sales assistant).
I should receive the other 4 tomorrow and then I can compare but I would just say that if you are not happy then send them back to him for a refund but if you are then spend them asap like I did.....
Just to add to annapantscats points, he/they sell an awful lot of make up etc in his ebay shop, would he really risk the ebay business with loads of bad feedback over fake vouchers, I certainly wouldn't.0
