More info? Have you had a car seized? If so I assume the sooner you buy a policy, the sooner you get your car back costing less in storage fees.

Its not yours until you or someone else produces valid insurance.

You could try asking friends with comp insurance who have driving other cars cover .... and their policy books must not have the exclusion clauses
*cannot be used to release an impounded vehicle.
*The other vehicle must have it's own insurance

Quite a few policies will have one of these exclusion clauses. but if you're lucky it might be possible.

You could buy insurance even temporary 1 week insurance.
