Foreign iphone
Soo about 2months ago me and my OH persuaded an iphone off ebay, stupidly trusting the seller.
Short story is that we received the phone, it didn't work so we got someone to look at it. They have told us it's a foreign phone and can't be used basically.
It's out of the time period to open a dispute on Ebay.
Does anyone know whether there's any way I can sell it? Even as spares or something?

Sell it to a recycler website. Provided it turns on I don't think they will check for signal etc.0

Would you sell it as working or non working?

You wont get much for it on one of those recycle websites, but you can always get an online quote.
Stick it back on eBay, but state it as "Foreign - Not Working". I am sure people would be able to use it as spare parts etc.
Iv'e sold many phones on eBay before stating that they don't work, you will be surprised how much they sell for!0 -

Thanks
Just don't see the point of it sitting in a draw somewhere, even if I can get £30 from it!0 -
Are you saying it is SIM-locked to a non-UK network?0

Are you sure the phone hasn't been reported as stolen and blocked?
Just out of interest how did it take months to get the phone checked out and confirmed as not working? Due to the prices of iphones not many people after ordering off eBay and getting a non working phone would wait they would send it back to the seller. Something doesn't sound right at all.0
