I got this deal on the CPW website - it was also on talk mobile website. I went for Nokia Lumia 710.

But my £50 cashback on Quidco was declined because i picked up in store. Thankfully - they declined it so quick - i had chance to return it.

Make sure you get delivered to you home if going through cashback sites.

This is VERY good advice. It's a no brainer anyway because CPW offer free next day delivery and as they use Yodel you don't have to be in as they normally leave it on the doorstep anyway. :D

A Lumia 710 on that deal is pretty damn good as well.

But are Talkmobile any good? I keep hearing bad things.

No point getting a cheap phone if the customer service gives you nothing but stress.
  • Been fine for me - only called them twice, got to speak to a British person both times (hope this doesn't make me sound racist because I'm really not but I'm kinda fed up of overseas CS!). No billing problems etc in the 6-7 months since I signed up. To be fair you hear bad things about every mobile company because that's what a lot of people believe the web is for - complaining! :D

If you make no mistakes and have patience then TM are good and cheap. Any errors made by you in cash back claims will be costly. Even their customer services are on premiun rate line.

Are you talking about Talkmobile or TalkTalk? I'm pretty sure i called 5888 from my mobile and it just came out of my allowance?

PS use weQ4u app for stuff like this - the landline number is indeed 0870 but this app just assigns a geographical number so it comes out of your allowance BUT hit a queue with the CS and it will queue for you with no cost to your allowance and ring you back when they answer. Brilliant!

It comes out of you allowance?

(Don't worry. I don't think you are racist. :) I'm Indian yet I still dread calling '3'. My brother in law just speaks to them in Hindi because it's easier!)

Actually, I think it's free if calling from a TM phone, sorry for the confusion.
