Found this offer on FB, you are supposed to "claim" it on their facebook page and they email you the link, but the URL still works I think..

http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/mobiles/choose-tariff/SAMSUNG_GALAXY_ACE/MONTHLY/NEW?clearance=false&selectionMaxLimitTariff=3&viewDealForAll=false&cc=&mn=Samsung%20Galaxy%20Ace&isFirst=true&#b

£7.50 per month for 250 minutes, 5000 texts and 500mb internet data 24 months with free phone (Samsung Galaxy Ace) as good as any other phone on the market, fast, multi-purpose, works well, it's not much inferior to £400 smartphones etc.. in many aspects, they are just overpriced.

It is on Talk Mobile, they use the Vodafone network, not much worse then any other network really, for the price you can't go wrong. Talkmobile is owned by the Carphone warehouse.

Enjoy!

You are greatly mistaken, although some users (very few I think) may notice no difference.

However, these deals are indeed a good value for money, and there are other entry level smartphones available for the same price: Galaxy Y, Sony Xperia tipo, LG Optimus L3.
Don't forget the cashback: £35 CPW, £40 Talkmobile (Ace only).

Crap phone, but decent enough price on the tariff.

You could sell the phone and buy a G300 for what you get.
  • Expensive. There are still much better deals.
  • Well if there are why not post them?

Exactly what I'm doing for my pa in law. They seem to be going for £100+ on ebay/amazon and his G300 was obtained for £67. Add the £33 saving to the £35 topcashback/quidco and divide by 24, take the result off the £7.50 and you are effectively paying £4.80/mth.

PS No need to go via facebook AFAIK this is just a deal on CPWs site and has been for a while?
