Goofbay sniper not working?

Been trying this out for a while, as a free alternative to eSnipe - worked well at first, placed about 10-20 snipes without problem, but the last two that I've tried it has simply not placed the bid - no explanation, or error message ... just didn't do anything. Anyone else using this service? Having any problems?

I have tryed sevral times recently & it has lost me several bargains what used to be good is now CRAP!!!!!!!!!! dont know why tryed to post on the forums but wont let me!!!!!! this tells a story

Goofbay hasn't been working for me in the last few days either, just comes up ebay page not responding after auction ends. Don't trust anymore. Think free gixen sniper looks like a good alternative.

It is possible that they may have server probs on Occasion so that may interfere with the sniper working as its still a site and no site runs perfectly 100% of the time?.

just to keep the thread going goofbay failed me twice today are there some other good free alternatives?

bidsnipe has let me down today too. just didn't register the bid at all, i could have won the item if it had.

any ideas?

Hi, you could try https://www.myibay.com/

Its an online snipe tool and you can download a snipe tool to put on your ebay page, so that you can put in a snipe bid for any auction. I have used it for a year or so, and its never let me down.

I do know that it doesnt work with Mozilla firefox 3, but should be ok with earlier versions, and IE.
