  • Rachie, why not try re-registering with a new email address and ID? Might be quicker than waiting for them to sort themselves out!

RE have got lots of child-required ones at the mo...........great for some, not for me!
Not in my area (or I'm too slow :o), and I have a child :(

What sort of assignments were they?

I think I found one (in another area). The child has to be aged 5-8, so no good for me.
  • They were for a sort of childrens ball play area in certain eating establishments - none in my area either - not a big one justthe play session I think......meal not included.

RachieB have you tried searching for RE and going in through a different link or deleting your cookies and trying again. Your computer may be remembering that page or something like that??

I was thinking that too :o

Also, was pleasantly surprised when my TNS payslip arrived this morning, and they'd paid me holiday pay as well. :j At least their rates of pay are reasonable, unlike GAP (have you noticed how the reimbursement limits have gone down for some of their shops? )

yeah think i may aswell !!
  • At the end of the tax year your employer in mystery shopping will send you a form which lists all the payments made to you and all the tax that they have paid. If you complete a tax return you need to complete the relevant page as an "employed" person.

I have done mystery shopping and, to my way of thinking, it is a waste of time and energy and not worth the money I was paid.

Remember, when you think about paying tax you can take all your expenses incurred in doing the MS out, before you end up with the 'profit' you have to pay tax on. I'm expecting to pay (a bit extra) tax on all my TNS stuff (I am on 40% tax so will have to make up the difference  ) But for all my other MS, I work out the mileage at 40p a mile, or take the return bus fare off, and then another 60p for computer time and printing out the details (thinking of putting this up to £1. There are an awful lot of details to print out). On a fee in single figures, this doesn't leave much tax to pay!
