What is everyones experience like with Grassroots? I submitted a report, but I haven't heard anything back. What are they like with payments? Should I be chasing them up?

No - the money just appears in your bank account and it's up to you to check if it's correct.

Usually it's just PAYE companies that send a payslip, and self employed companies don't.

Hey Becles....no, I'm not remotely offended by your comments. As far as I'm concerned, constructive criticism can only help me get better.

Not all of them know the exact date.

Also some scenarios have been the same for ages, so if they know the scenario it's easy to guess who you are.

Two certain retail groups have just had a huge shake-up of mystery shopping rules.

And have no idea of dates anymore, just told four per year.

I'm giving up MS until my main company pays me - over £100 outstanding from jobs done mid-late July! Just when I need it too!

Am praying that my business picks up again now summer's over - it's been dire and I'm sooooo broke. If it goes well, I'll employ you all to MS me!!:D :D Oh and I'll pay more than a fiver - hehehehe
  • Well I was checking when I get paid, won't name names but for one I did a job on 1st August which involved a spend - payment for that one is due 24th Sept. Another company I did one on 13th August, cut off date for payment was 14th August so I have just been paid, but the next job I did for them was 18th August so that one is now payable until just after 14th September.

Currently I am owed around £250 due to mystery shopping it is definitely a job not to take on if cash flow is tight as I have found out.
