Grass Roots Group - Their phone number has stopped working.
I tried contacting them on the freephone number yesterday as I had a problem with one of the jobs I was doing for them, but there was no answer. Today the number is not being recognised and I know from experience that email questions are usually ignored. Anyone know what's goin on?

I tried the helpline late afternoon yesterday and got through fine. The day before the job acceptance number wasn't working for me! Previously I have had a reply from an email but took 2-3days. (wasn't urgent).
The tel no I have stored on my phone is 0800 515832 is this the same one you tried?

Hopefully our NI bills will come tomorrow Dormouse?! Fingers crossed. When does your mat leave start? Do we still need to continue paying contributions when we are on leave?

I don't know if we have to keep paying NI when on mat leave. Becles should know this though ;)

I haven't decided when to start my leave yet. On a good day, I think I'll start beginning of August, on a bad day I want to start bang on 28 weeks :rotfl: Have you decided?

No you don't have to pay NI when you are claiming NI. You'll get credits for those weeks to cover your pension.

I'm on monthly DD for NI, so I just get one letter with all the dates on at the beginning of each tax year.

I'm finishing work next Friday and I can't wait. Getting up this morning was a struggle and I was very tempted to stop right now! The work I've got booked in left to do is for my fave company though, so I don't want to let them down.
Here I go again on my own....

I am starting asap, so 29 weeks!!!! Or can I start sooner at 28 weeks? Not been an easy preg so want to take it easy!! Got my 20 week scan this afternoon so a bit nervous. The other 8 were fine though!!1 :o I was reading somewhere that you can take 10 stay in touch days - does this mean we can take on really good jobs if we are asked? Also wondering if we can still do expenses only jobs like petrol/meals whilst onMA? How far will you be on when you start MA Becles? Much further than me I bet ;)
