I'm curious to learn which survey this is on, maybe you'd be good enough to pm me?
Don't think other companies bother with silly things like that. :rolleyes:0 -
wantmorejobs wrote:Also, today I was doing 2 assignments for TNS for an electrical store, two different locations, I did the first one no problems but then when I went to do the second one, somebody from the first one must have rang them to inform them what I looked like, and I was confronted. I denied all knowledge but I know it affected the service, especially confirmed when I had to produce a letter at the end. Anybody got any ideas on how I should report on this?
Surely this isn't good from the clients point of view that stores a co-operating as to what the mystery shopper looks like?
Any ideas welcomed. Cheers
So did you report this to MS company ? and have they replied ? I would be interested to know what they will do, especially in that you did no wrong.0 -
Anyone get an email about MS for a new car ?
I've applied, but the closest dealer is 15 miles away, so I wonder if it will really be worth it ?0 -

Was offered but did not take it - too tempting would probably actually buy one:eek: Plus there seemed to be a lot involved and would take up more time than i can fit in.Proud to have dealt with my debts. Nerd number 288:j Debt free date Dec 07 :EasterBun

puddings wrote:I do sympathise for you. All the recent TNS reveal visits to "c" stores have been very uncomfortable. I try to avoid them now if I can. Before last Autumn, the shopper had to go back into the store afterwards and announce him/herself to the duty manager - doing this was not usually a problem and often you could avoid bumping into the salesperson that you had been fake with. Not any more though: now there is no alternative than coming clean to the salesperson. I can't imagine that anybody actually enjoys that moment.
I understand that the store changed this so that they didnt have to process the transaction and then the refund which sometimes caused problems. Personally i think that the new way sucks!
To go into a store and get confronted, then deny it, then do the survey and then have to come clean to the salesman... I think I would rather the ground open and swallow me up!
Saying that though, i think the store staff were dumb for confronting you in the first place. They could have got themselves a 100% score if they had played their advantage better, but as it ended up there's a chance that your results won't apply and they'll end up being reshopped
Well that was my thinking, I knew that they probably did know, but they never did anything overtly obvious until I was confronted, and at the time I was thinking why didn't they just keep their mouth shut, because they got nothing out of contronting me, except for it being in my report, and maybe an ego boost for the person who thought he was the best, when in fact it is usually obvious when there is a mystery shopper as they make similar enquiries month after month.
Well the report has gone in anyway, so I suppose I will wait to see the outcome from TNS.
Plus, that store has lost my custom as an ordinary shopper!!!!!!0 -

Yes I did report it, I had no choice really. It was a shame though because the guy who was serving me was doing well but then the other person came over and ruined it. It wouldn't have been so bad, but it seemed like the whole store knew and it was somewhat intimidating, but hey i've but everything down in the report so if it comes back to me, I know I did nothing wrong.
Will keep you posted on the outcome, if any!!!!!0
