What would you have done?
I guess I would depend on the severity of the H&S situation - if it was something really serious where I saw something that would stop me from eating there, or would endanger the customers' health, then I guess we have to intervene?
(This reminds me of the rats and insects question on the GAP pizza questionnaire - I don't know what I'd do if I ever actually saw them!)0 -

I've got a very quiet couple of weeks coming up too. Just one burger job next week, then nothing until the very end of the month.
In a way I'm pleased as the house is a tip and I've got loads of other stuff to get done. Besides, I'm sure a few last-minute jobs will pop up.0 -
Had a pub meal today and food was unappealing to put it nicely. Would not return and glad I didn't have to pay for the meal....
A few assignments with GRG and NOP coming up but then I think there aren't that many assessors where I live.
With TNS do u only get paid for what you spend on meal or do you get max allowable amount? I didn't know what to put in the box so just put what I spend in.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
With TNS you would get whatever you spent on the meal plus your fee - I normally get as close to the amount as I can!Weight Loss - 102lb0

Future tip:
If your mobile contract is coming up for renewal, consider picking a phone with a decent camera on it. Nobody bats an eyelid at you standing fiddling with a phone, and that's coming from someone who takes a number of covert pictures for a regular job (don't ask what as I can't say!).
I've got the Sony Erricsson K800i which has a 3MP camera on it. The camera is so good and the quality is brilliant, that I've stopped using my normal digi camera for work, and I just use the phone. It's one less thing to carry. Here I go again on my own....0 -

Go by whatever it says on your brief, I recently did a job where it specifically said not to make any complaints even if I had a valid one, if nothing is mentioned in the brief and I had a complaint, I would make it. In another job I was doing, I witnessed the member of staff sweep the floor, then scoop up the excess rubbish with her bare hands, she then went on to serve my food without washing them, I let her put the food into the box, then I complained and said she hadn't washed her hands, her answer was, her hands didn't actually touch the food. I complained to the manager and got fresh food served by clean hands. This all went down in the report, using the first timings and also adding how helpful the Manager was in recifying the problem.
Most briefs say you are not an inspector, but should act as a normal customer, if a normal customer had a problem, they would complain."Dogs come when they are called. Cats take a message and get back to you" :j :j0 -
Had 2 retail maxim assignments last week :
one on sat which was a web report
and one on fri which was a telephone report, how fab are they ?! :T the lady just called me to take my answers, was done in a few mins ,beats typing it all out thats for sure :rotfl: :T0 -
Sounds good Rachie B. I signed up for them ages ago but never heard anything. Just checked and I never sent a photo - did you send one?
Does anyone know if TNS pay a month in hand? I see they pay on 28th of month so will that be 28th Jan for December jobs? Not been paid by them yet and could do with the money! ;-)This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
