oops_a_daisy wrote:Hi wonder if anybody can help. I have just accepted my first mystery shopper assignment for friday however I have e mailed the company as they have requested a copy of a bank statement for the assignment but I do all of my banking on line so I have no 'paper' statement. Has anybody else had this problem and if so what did they do about it.
Many thanks

My hubby was reading me an article over the weekend from The Guardian about an internet scam using mystery shopping.
This dodgy company basically sends you a cheque for 2000 quid and requests you wire it to Canada. The scam ensures their cheque doesn't go through and you end up being 2 grand down!!!!!
So be careful peops because some folk have fallen for it!!!0 -

Gapbuster don't like you to do this. They are the only ones I know of.0 -
