Maximising income - Mystery Shopping? Surveys?

I've never had a job I didn't whinge about :rotfl:
Nothing's wrong with an occassional whinge - but a public forum may not be a sensible place to do it. Many of the people who allocate mystery shopping work are also members of MSE... Of course if you want to keep doing poorly paid jobs with long questionnaires, whinge away
To the person who was asking about "free holidays" - you're clearly missing the point of what mystery shopping is all about. It's anything but a holiday, free or otherwise, it's damn hard work. It makes the detailed pub job reports look very quick and easy.
There is plenty of this kind of work available, but the people who do it are hardly likely to give out the details on a forum like this, not least because the companies concerned generally ask you to keep it completely confidential. Sorry to anyone who thinks there is some kind of magical shortcut, but if you want to make good money from this, you have got to put in the graft, provide quality, grammatically correct reports and earn the better work by building up your reputation.0 -
I just want to earn abit extra to pay off my credit card until my contract ends in March 2007. an extra £50 a month is all I'm looking at but more is a bonus.
The thing is people whinge about any job, whether it be a MS job or you full-time day job - we're human and I'm female which gives me an advantage on the moaning issues! lol

It asks what the 'Dine In Presenter's Name' was then wants to know more details about this person.
What exactly is this person? :rotfl:
I've already given details on the member of staff that served me, so I'm a bit confused about this one. Maybe leave it blank?
Thanks again.
I am an allocator for a mystery shopping company. If any shopper does not understand some part of the instructions or the questionnaire, it is imperative that he/she does not guesses at what it might mean, but contact the office for clarification. We appreciate shoppers doing this as it shows they pay attention and care about doing the visit correctly.
Sometimes one simple misunderstood question may invalidate the visit and payment is not made. So for your own sake please be carerful...;)Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -

In the case you quoted advent1122 I would suggest the following replies as possibly being what the company expect:
Although I purchased several items & needed a carrier bag I was not offered one. Carrier bags were freely available & I helped myself.
or
I was not offered a carrier bag and I could not see bags available, so had to ask for one. The member of staff provided one on request but it would have been better service if they had asked me, rather than me having to ask them.
or
I was not offered a carrier bag, but I only purchased two small items, so did not really require one.0 -

A) I was not offered a carrier bag.Explain why you were not offered a carrier bag.
Did there appear to be none available? Were you not offered one even though there was a big roll of them behind the till? Were there any available on the counter for you to help yourself to? Did the person who served you appear to be completely disinterested?
Help the client to understand exactly what happened.0 -

Your final two answers are subjective.0 -
Can anyone help with this - I've just done a questionnaire for Gap and I forgot to print the answers before I submitted, meaning I've got no record when I'm supposed to keep this for 6 months. Is there any way I can get the info back to print it out?0
