I registered with Retail Eyes some time ago, but either I'm too late for the assignments, or they don't have many in my town very often. However! I logged in on Saturday and I have (finally) my 1st MS on Friday. It's in a pub I frequent regularly, so OH and I are having a free meal plus £5. Yippee!
Thanks for everyone's advice on here, I hope to remain as inconspicious as possible!Official DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My DebtsDFW Long Hauler #109

After reading about it on this thread, (thanks OP!!!!), I signed up and have just completed my first assignments. I have to say though that for the amount of effort involved, the money is very poor - well below minimum wage after taking into account petrol, tax etc. As for getting to go into a shop and spend money - I have a MS tomorrow where my spend budget is a massive £1!!! I doubt the shop have anything that cheap so it'll end up costing me money!
I've also been doing market research groups for years now and the pay there is much better .....but hey, every little helps so I'll give it a whirl for a few months and reserve judgement until then. I guess if it pays the electricity bill every month, then it's worth it!
I just hope I get more interesting assignments....0 -
the main reason i do it is so we can affortd to go out for the odd meal now and then.
If i had to pay for the meal it would be once in a blue moon , if ever. And the info you collect on meal jobs is simple.
i admit though some of them ar more effort than the cash you get ( bank jobs with grass roots )Debit was £64k (light bulb Feb 05)

Queen.Bess - you may want to edit your post. MS companies look very poorly on their fees being discussed and you may find you don't get any more work if you continue to do so.0

Hello Rachie B - I did 2 mystery shops on the same road today and then drove past a tesco extra to get my nearly free tesco toiletries !! lunch was included with the one so free lunch. Just sent off 2 reports and have been paid now for 4 assignments.
I currently have 12 outstanding with one every day this week and next week 2 in one day plus others, running up to 22/9.
It is good it fits in with my life, eg children and part-time working in my office. I have had various assignments to action and as for the future .......... well I know this is something I would like to do and I am enjoying it, free lunch again tomorrow and my new plan of walking and getting fit is finally becoming a reality !!
