is anyone else having problems with GFK website? Done 3 assignments today and cant complete questionnaires as when fill in all details appears their inbuilt spell checker is crashing and wont let you proceed. Typical being a weekend - I'd better not lose these jobs because results not entered same day - believe me Im trying to enter them.
I had a call from them yesterday, they said they were having some problems with their site, and I think they emailed me as well.

It was supposed to get sorted yesterday though

I logged on today and booked a job, and it worked fine, but I didn't have to fill in a questionnaire.

Did you email them and tell them? Just to be on the safe side, letting them know that you are trying to enter the job. :)

I've never heard of those assignments Dormouse. Are they through the same companies?
Yeah, mine was from GfK NOP. I dunno why they call them audits, it's almost like a normal MS.

AFAIK GAP do audits as well but I've never done one for them - don't even know whether they appear on the normal site like normal jobs or what?

Oh yeah, RE called today, regarding the 45 minute assignment. ;) I noticed when I was doing the report that the online questionnaire was slightly different to the one I printed out. Consequently, people haven't been able to answer all the questions - the person I spoke to said they're having to ring loads of people up.

So I don't know if they've rectified the mistake, but if they haven't, a tip for those of you doing the job soon: check the store directly opposite, even if you're not asked to in your notes - it'll get you brownie points with RE ;)

Thanks for this. I didn't submit the shop opposite on one of my reports so when I drove past tonight on the way to another mystery shop I clocked the name of the shop! ;)

Yes me too! I was really pleased to find that when I went back to try again my report had been stored in the database so I didn't have to input it all again. Still can't get as far as the payclaim page though:(

Does anyone else think it's a bit cheeky for them to expect you to have such specific info when it wasn't in the questionnaire to start with?
Are they insisting you must have this to get paid the original fee or are they paying extra for you to go back and get this so they can submit the reports to their client?

I think they have just made a mistake with what was asked originally and the follow-up questionnaire - I am sure it should have been on and they are chasing things up.

I did a job for RE a few days ago. Its been a while since Ive done one. I noticed they asked for me to post the receipt and they asked me to email them to say that I had completed a job using a standard email they had constructed. TBH, it put me right off accepting any more jobs. I just want to be able to do the job, complete the report and thats it-not have to go and get stamps and envelopes etc (I dont live very close to post offices and post boxes)
Is it me or are they a bit more stringent? (Not that its a bad thing).

Also, i haven't registered with the tax people about the MS-will i get into trouble? Its been a few months now since i started MS-ing.

You should register as SE with the Tax office within (IIRC) within 3 months, or you face a fairly stiff fine - give them a ring and register NOW!
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

Yes you will - BIG TROUBLE.
This is the reason I only do mystery shops for TNS, they sort out the tax for you.
I didnt want my tax code or tax credits messed up for a few £5 mystery shops.
I did apply to retail eyes and got accepted, but there questionaires seem WAAAYYY too long and WAAAYYY to much hassle for a few quid.
I like TNS, the questionaires are straight forward and I have eaten out 4 times last week.
Just come back from a Sunday Lunch, courtesy of TNS.
