Re Wonga - I think OP arranged with them to pay 1/2 this month and 1/2 next.

Well done on last month :T
I've strayed from the forums for about 18 months & built some of the debt I'd paid off back up, by taking my eye off the ball :o

But I'm inspired to back to my MSE ways again, before it gets any worse thanks to reading through your thread.

Good luck with the rest of your journey :money:

  • Hi moneywater :)

Did you know that anything from the 80's is now called "vintage or retro"? and guess what people are snapping it up at silly prices!!
Old Tupperware, Pyrex, Sadler teapots, cups made by Kilncraft, things that we used everyday, not the fancy stuff just everyday stuff. (When it was all made in the UK)
anything from that era, any chance you still have any games left from when your daughter was young? in the loft. I got good money for a spirograph connect 4, noddy books and old polly pockets.
As someone else said, they do not have to be perfect but you do have to be honest.
Credit union is a brilliant idea, I only save 2 pounds a week and they let me have a loan for 100 and I think I ended up paying back 112 over a 6 month period.
Would hubby be a secret shopper, free coffee, petrol and other stuff I have had, you do need the money up front that is the only problem, I have had 4 this month alone, and extra 50 pounds for me and what worked out as 25 pounds of free bits.
Hope some of this has helped
    Good luck.
