In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. You think the RM redirection service is a rip off, but mistakes do happen. My parents moved end August and told all of their family and friends and most of the organisations my parents are with.
My Dad's birthday 4 weeks ago and still some people sent his cards to the old address. The same with companies. My mum phoned them and gave them the new address. They still are being redirected!
My parents put my name just in case I do get redirected mail, even though I moved into my own flat 2.5 years ago. My parents live 10 mins walk from meI have so far received 2 items of mail and everytime I contact these and telling them they have still got the WRONG address and give them the CORRECT address, they still send it to the wrong address! Even writing to the various head offices didn't do anything!0
