but blu if u read the thread they were very rude in saying to cc why didnt u search before you posted even though we all know cc does this each and every day

it was their attitutde and tbh i think they done it intentionally as theyve been a member since august and everyone knows cc does the daily itv ones

Fing is hun, I know what you mean, but I think they were being defensive. It's what happens when someone feels attacked. I honestly don't think anyone meant anything badly XXX

Edit: sorry I ignored the second bit. You may be right, but then what would they have achieved? Anyway, it's still best in my humbles to err on the side of kind. It wouldn't have blown up like this. XXX

It was more what was said on the other thread that was a bit rude really for a newbie to a regular poster.

This reminds me of purebloods vs muggles in Harry Potter....I'll watch I don't speak out of turn! ;)

I don't think that Moneybot was really suggesting that oldtimers are somehow more noble than newcomers :)

I think it's more that most of us who have been here a while know how hard comping cat has worked for this forum and many of us have a lot of respect for her for this. When someone comes along and is not very nice to her some of us are going to feel rankled.

Thank you that was exactly what I meant, the being rankled by somebody being not very nice to cc. It was the way the post was the same as cc posted at the same time, then the telling cc hers was a dupe and that cc should have looked before posting.

And as a Muggle I feel offended that someone should use a bad HP reference ;)
