Ohh ! Sorry to hear someone else been left high and dry by talktalk or lack of it!
However only 16 days is nothing compared to my current wait of 36 days to be reconnected by TALK TALK due to a major human error on their part!
They mistakenly cut me off 2 days after I renewed my contract with them and to add insult to injury sent me a letter thanking me for staying with them the same day they cut me off!!
Having no phone or broadband has been at times quite peacefull but at other times extremely frustrating!
Two teenage daughters studying for GCSE and A levels has become very fraught as well as a family bereavement. Trying to cope with being self employed and not having a landline or internet has been challengeing. I was told at first my original phone no has been lost ( just after 3000 bizz cards were printed) was not funny!
It has taken TALK TALK 4 weeks to admit it was their error !!!
I am now communicating with a VICTORIA POVEY 08009555544 (make a not of this number) in the CEO office ,who tells me "all is being sorted out" however I am extremely sceptical !!
Talk Talk reckon they will pay me compensation but how do you measure what is right? yes the line rental charges etc but how do you measure the disruption in a monatary amount?
I would tell Talk Talk to stick it where the fiber optic wont reach .....but they tell me they will charge me £96 to break my contract !!!! However they have already taken this amount 7 days after they cut me off because they said that I had left them to go with another provider halfway through my contract!!!
A very severe case of the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing !!!!0
