Then ignore the daft replies and don't get wound up - that just eggs people on.
You have to be pretty thick skinned on here at times, unfortunate having a wobbler has probably opened the floodgates, so to speak.0 -
nah... round in circles with only a few credible replies
and I wouldnt say its a wobbler at all!!

I'm curious as to what caused all this trauma.
And OP, you can't remove the thread. If you don't want to make a thread public, don't start it in the first place.
Here you go
Asda £5 voucher for £40 spent. Why are they not instantly giving out the vouchers!!
Just been and spent £43 in asda this morning.
Only intended to get a few things but wanted to take up the opportunity of the £5 to save towards Christmas.
Last time they ran this scheme you paid for your shopping and got the voucher there and then but not any more!! You need time on your hands to collect it!
First you pay for your shopping and get your receipt but no voucher. Checkout lady says you have to go to a stand beautifully decorated with green and black balloons,.
Then you wait a while. Then you ask at self service check out what to do.. He calls a member of staff..
Hello nice young man wearing bright yellow Gillet.
He gives me a raffle ticket.. yes a cheap tacky raffle ticket?? and??
The stub I write my name on with my address and post code.
He takes my receipt. He keeps the stub. Gives me my tacky little raffle ticket.
What do I do next?
Next time I am in asda I got to customer services ( hope they are not busy but in my store you normally have a long wait ) so go to customer services with my raffle ticket to get my voucher. With I hope my receipt!!
So unlike last time the scheme ran I was at home voucher in hand with my receipt checking the price guarantee.
This time. I have no voucher and no receipt until I go back in.
So what happened to the simple voucher you got at the till when you paid!!!!!!! Made their life easier and certainly made mine easier too!!
Are all Asda stores running this scheme like this??
It just seems such an !!!! about face way of running a scheme especially when busy. Staff could not tell me why. can anyone else??0 -
The answer would be; because it's a £5 off £40 bonus for using the ASDA Price Guarantee. So spend £40, use the APG, and ASDA will let you print out a voucher for £5 off your next £40 shop. That's the deal.Asda £5 voucher for £40 spent. Why are they not instantly giving out the vouchers!!
No, ASDA are running the £5 off £40 bonus in the same way as they've always run the £5 off £40 bonus.Last time they ran this scheme you paid for your shopping and got the voucher there and then but not any more!! You need time on your hands to collect it!0 -

Drop in the URL of the cached page you are looking for:

Easy
One of my pet hates is people who delete their original posts, this site is, for the most part, an incredibly helpful community who share advice and knowledge. Leaving OP's can often assist people who are looking for information on similar issues. Deleting them smacks of "Well, I got my advice you can get your own".0 -
just printed mine online the £5 and a money off coupon,
I prefer it that was rather than more paper from Asda, imagine all those little bits of paper they printed and most end up in the bin, printing at home means less paper surely.
so one store was giving raffle tickets out, perhaps they had not got their vouchers yet, no big deal
I know not everyone is internet savey, but if you can find your way posting on here then you are at least able to use this, which is now even easier as all you have to do is type in the bar code.
