    bb lw snow?!
lou :j it is wonderful to see you so happy and all the baby pics and tales on fb. you really deserve all the happiness
twofishes ((hugs)) cook double batches to build up a stock of tasty hm ready meals? when you can
npm thanks it's already looking up, i feel free *cringey cliche* to do whatever i fancy now

I have wasted most of the day, it's shameful! I need to dry my hair then go to the supermarket for cleaning supplies and some bits to make cooking more appealing. Since I've moved in my daily diet has consisted of a bowl of muesli, an apple and a pita filled with tinned sweetcorn :o
The house is really quiet today with half out so it is the perfect opportunity to have the big cleaning blitz I've been craving and bleach everything. The others are perfectly clean, one guy is immaculate and even washes up straight after eating :T but I just feel better after bleaching a new home. Maybe it's psychological? Anyway, toodles!

  • Good afternoon everyone,
Rained all day so far. It doesn't look like it is going to stop either.
Lou, congratulations :j, can't wait to see pictures.
Dinner was chicken breasts cooked in a sauce i found in the cupboard that needed using up with potatoes and vegetables. We had some apples given to us yesterday so i made an apple crumble for dessert. I made extra crumble topping so i could put a bag full in the freezer.
I have had to put all of the washing on the airer today, some things have had to go in the td. Had a hoover and tidy round.
I plan to get some baking done for packed lunches this afternoon as its quiet. Hubby is in bed as he has work tonight, dd is out with her bf and other dd is in her bedroom.
I hope everyone has a lovely rest of the day and hugs to those who need them.

Just popped back in as having a quiet half hour.
Dh has been busy in the garden and DS has been painting the fence, they have both gone for a lie down for half an hour:D
Have spent most of the afternoon wrapping presents and writing cards. So have a bag of stuff to put on the suitcase and a bag to dish out before we go.
Feel more sorted now and at least I know exactly where I am up to.
Just a couple of bits left to buy.
Tea is going to be a salad and something but not until later as we had a sand which about 2.
tomorrow will be spent putting the last of the stuff on eBay. It's been fab this year and really helped to buy the Christmas shopping.
Glad to see you posting Lou congratulations.

Here's to a restful Sunday evening.

I've done my food shop, went for nice walk on the beach - it's been a gloriously sunny day here :) and I must say I've had a very productive few hours in the kitchen!

    I've cooked:

    - 3 portions of spicy carrot and lentil soup
    - 6 portions of veggie chilli
    - 5 portions of veggie curry
    - prepped a lentil pie (6 portions)
    - prepped pots and veg for roast dinner later
    - baked a lemon drizzle cake

It was a bit of a challenge as my kitchen is on the small side so I had to leave the chilli and curry in the pans rather than portion up to cool, until I had finished everything else! But that lot will keep me going for while :rotfl:

Also got 2 loads dried outside today, and had a catch up with both my neighbour. Plus put the bins out.

Think I deserve a sit down now with a cuppa and slice of my cake :rotfl:
