I went into a Spar shop in Westbourne near Bournemouth today to see if they had a paper that i like to read (The Morning Star) The reason why i asked if they had the paper in, was that they had it a few weeks ago when the TUC were in Bournemouth. However they didnt and he made very Toffee-Nosed comments about the paper. I, being the bigger man, didnt say anything just pai for my papers and walked off. I've just written a complaint letter and posted it to the spar headquarters. I have put in the letter that i appreciate that we may both have different political views and read different newspapers doesnt mean he can bring comments like that into a professional workplace. Hopefuly I might get a decent response.

To what end?
What exactly do you hope to acheive?0 -
Bit of a fuss over not much really. I just wouldn't go there again.0

I'd tell him to !!!!!! off, but then again, I do work in a Spar and we tell the boss that all the time..."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

What exactly do you expect Spar to do? They are basically just a buying and branding group, they don't own the stores or control how they are run. If you do get a response it will probably just be a generic 'sorry you weren't happy' letter.0

Are you sure it really was a Spar? There's a seedy newsagent in Westbourne calling themselves "Star" but using the same colours & logo!Debt 2007 £17k
Current Debt approx £7.5k
Target - to pay off all debts by 2020 :A0 -
