Any ideas for a skateboarding mad son would be appreciated. Apart from the obvious smellies and chocs, I have bought a skateboarding calendar and thats about it. He has said he doesn't mind the odd can of beer or cider  yeh like thats going to happen. Kick and relentless cans are as much as he will get. Struggling though this year.
There are the little skateboards that you use with your fingers at asda, but I don't know what they're called.0 -
I've seen these little skateboards with chocs in, in sainsbury's. Think they are the ones you push with your finger.

The comment about beer/cider made me :rotfl:. How old is he? Mine would come out with something like that too.
sethsgran -That hemp handcream is good for chapped hands. We have a relative that lives on a narrow boat and we always give her some.
I couldn't find the compressd air in either poundland or poundworld. Looked where all the computer bits are, assume that's where it's kept?0 -
Picked up my first stocking filler for teenage son in Tesco - Top Trumps DC superheroes , they were in the reduced section for 55p, he has loads of Top Trumps but to good a bargain to pass up, plus he likes the characters of DC comics (Big Bang Theory inspired!)0

Thank you that looks great! He is 14, 15 in Feb and quite an old teen if you know what I mean. He wasn't joking either about the cider and beer :rotfl:0 -
I didn't see the price, but at the till in New Look today they had 'emergency moustaches'
They are boxed, so they'd fit in a stocking better than the flat cards of moustaches. They are probably more expensive, but teenagers might like the idea of ever needing an 'emergency' moustache! I also bought mine a bar of 'emergency chocolate' from Sainsburys last year but that was £2.99 which is a bit expensive I suppose.

Also (possibly for older teens) a ring that's a bottle opener. 66p and free delivery! http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B005SRI6G0/ref=pe_385721_37038051_pe_217191_31005151_3p_M3T1_dp_152% tight0 -
they have a few good t-shirt designs that I am hoping my teenage boys will like:

What sort of headphones do you put in stockings? Son seems to get through them at a rate of knots! He had some last Christmas from my Grandmother that cost around £30 and they haven't lasted.
My earbuds have a zip for the wires ... apparently it's so you can zip them together when not in use, and protect them from damage a bit. I got mine from Tesco https://zipbuds.com/52% tight0 -
Mr S ordered the mystical fire sachets without mentioning it to me first...£8 worth! Remind me again why I do the stocking buying. Ok, so bulk buying netted the cost down a lot to 80o a sachet, but 10 is far too many, so will either save some for future years or see if the friend whose bonfire we attended the other night and loved them wants to buy some off me for her sons,
I bought a bike cover in Poundland the other day. In typical teenage logic DS decided that the ideal time to start riding his bike to school was October, so of course only managed a fortnight before weather became too bad. Hopefully he'll go back to it next year.
I got DH to fetch the stockings out of the loft with the Halloween Decs, so I can actually see how it fills as I buy this year. The bike cover plus a belt I've bought fit nicely and use up about 1/2 the space, so hopefully shouldn't be struggling last minute for items this year.0
