I've found a huge problem with that NavFree app. Figured i'd just bump this thread rather than create a new one....
If searching for a post code - brilliant. Searching for an area? No chance.
I'd tell you to search for a road/street name in Lancaster, but to go 1 better than that, try & search for ANYWHERE in Lancaster at all. Not Lancaster, London, not university of Lancaster, but Lancaster, Lancashire which has the postcode LA1. It's not listed & as a result wont let me route to any street in Lancaster at all.0

I don't think the TT would do that either, in fact putting LA1 into google will not return a result.0

TomTom works fine. I've got it & it works for me. Whack in the City as Lancaster, put in the street name (for example: common garden street), select crossing or whatever for house number & away i go & it'll take me there no bother.
Try this with NavFree & i go to enter Lancaster & all of a sudden Lancaster no longer exists.
Another example: on NavFree, try entering "Hurlford" as the city. Strangely, although it's smaller than Lancaster, much smaller, it's actually listed whereas Lancaster isn't.
Yet then try & enter "Mayfield Avenue" for the street name & see what happens. You can try it on google maps - it exists, i know it exists because it's where the in-laws live, yet according to NavFree it doesn't exist.
I guess you get what you pay for & this seems to be where NavFree falls down - places don't 'exist'.0
