  • Had hampers delivered today, Just add cheese are great, the Galaxy and Christmas ones are not, just as poor as the photos posted but at least they are here. This was the Christmas goodies 3 +3 deal.

Glad you have yours at last :)

Noticed the Just Add Cheese in my local village gift shop today! It was £14.99, the 8 preserves ones were there too for £9.99.Feel a bit stupid for thinking that the stuff came from Norfolk and that it really cost what Neil quoted in the first place! Was it just me?
  • The shop is still operating btw - so no Caribbean cruise yet

This was posted earlier on Twitter by someone defending their honour as a hardworking husband and wife team!

"Don't go on MSE so not seen anything . Went to shop yesterday to pick up a hamper"
  • Just like to add that I also paid for a year's supply of hampers. Neil promised to send me 4 and I haven't received any yet........

Although this does not actually help anyone, you can at-least take some comfort knowing this must be ruining his Christmas. The company will surly go under, and he will have no option but to go bankrupt, leading the lose of his house etc.

I for one would not want that hanging over me, even if I bought it on myself.
  • I do feel sad about that especially knowing children are involved but he shouldn't have got himself into this situation.

My hubby lost his business last year but not through any fault of his own!

I suspect that when that happens he will have a 'collapse' blame it all on stress and try to make out that buyers are nasty creatures who caused him to be ill.

People will turn on buyers and it will be conveniently forgotten that this man is lying to buyers, lying to trading standards and trying to get away with sub standard and shoddy goods in many cases.

In fairness he did actually send out at 8 jars of jam produced in Norfolk which it turns out has a fairly hefty price tag of £4.25 per jar direct from the manufacturer admittedly there should of been 12 jars & they should of been supplied in hampers not trays but it was actually produce of Norfolk as described on the site unlike the thousands of other hampers he sent out which contained primarily mass produced goods from Leicestershire.
