If you follow the Vodafone instructions what do you see at stage 8/19 on your phone ?

It is possible the Tesco firmware is different to the Vodafone version.0 -
Blackberry 8520
This sounds a very interesting idea. I will look into it a bit more. Thank you.
I use my phone very little to make calls. perhaps an average of 10 to 15 mins a month. I do use it though to text, probably an average of 200 a month. Would PAYG sound like a viable option for me? I get so confused with all the options
It would have been if you didn't send quite so many text messages.
I use FishText to send text messages on my Blackberry, but as yours is GPRS/EDGE only it might be a bit slow to access the page..
So perhaps Tesco Mobile on a rolling one month contract.BlackBerry SIM
150 minutes
5000 texts
1GB data
1 month contract
Monthly cost
£10
inc VAT
or Giff Gaff for £8 per month with no contract. For only £5 get 60 UK Minutes, 300 UK texts and a free extra minute for every minute you get called (as long as the call is not from another giffgaff number). Plus, you will still benefit from our free giffgaff to giffgaff calls and texts.
For £3 extra a month get the BlackBerry Add-on to access BlackBerry Services.(BlackBerry Messenger (BBM), BlackBerry (push) e-mails and BlackBerry Internet.)0
