Just asked my mum who works for Sainsburys and she said rumour is its going to be a 1/3 off to start with then near the end of the promotion they will up the discount to 50%, she's going to see if she can find out anymore for me at work tomorrow.

Not sure how Money.co.uk got up to 40% off.

All toys are either half price or a 1/3 off. Some are also 25% off.

Depends what you want but I'm sure there wil be some bargains!

shame got loads last year for the kids all 50% off, was there when the doors opened and was one of the first in. it was heaving within an hour some bargins, doesnt sound so good this year may look online when I get up rather than make a special trip.

like OP said, there are other offers on with the other shops and I have too been looking around.

That is disappointing. I'm sorry, but I got used to being greedy. The 50% off are going to be the extra large toys they bring in specially for Xmas, usually baby and toddler toys. And the toys you want to buy will be the least percent off.

Alot of the 50% off stuff is actually playsets and things for older children. Not all baby and toddler.

Thanks for your useful posts Blingbailey. I missed not be able to shop online during the last couple of years - as half term I always had kids in tow during my annual leave so store wasn't really an option. However in our area it isn't half term so I was excited about getting there - but hubby on early shifts this week so after dropping kids off and driving to neares store it would be 10am - so sure it would be all over!

I do remember it was a bit like boots online sale - whe will it start, will everything be uploaded. So a plea Bling bailey ....can you let us know when the website is expected to go live (ie midnight or 6am - it will let me set my clock accordingly!:T

Does anybody know what time it starts? Is it midnight on the Wednesday ready for Thursday like usual or have they changed it to midnight on Tuesday ready for Wednesday??

hiya can you confirm is the sale on this weds 24th or the following weds as i no its always in the half term x

Its supposed to be Wednesday but that may vary depending on when your half term is - is it online does anyone know or is it only in store - its a nightmare they have it during half term because I need to offload the kids while I go!!!!!
